Painting Your Dinos, Signs and Self using pre made Templates, a How To Guide

Hey guys if anyones was wondering how I painted/got the Superwoman Quetz and Ferrari Rex or any other dinos you've seen of mine, below are some links to the Websites I use to find the pre made paint templates as well as a simple step by step on how to make it work.

1. Find the template you like, check these two websites for all the popular ones http://arktemplates.com/ http://arkpaint.com/

2. Download the link and save to the following folder path (may be slightly different path depending on where your game is dl or OS) C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\MyPaintings

3. If you have the game running when you download templates you will need to close it back to steam then re open game and join server

4. In game you will need to have all the available dyes(http://www.ark-survival.net/en/2015/07/18/dye-recipes-cheatsheet-with-colour-samples/) that your particular template requires in your inv, plus a paintbrush simply place the paintbrush on your hotbar, walk up to the dino you have a template for and hit it, when you get the paint screen loaded up for the dino select the Load Paint Types button at the bottom of the screen, and then select the template you require, if you do not have all the required dyes it will not let you proceed, if you do have them you can hit the select button and it will begin painting the creature.

5.Head to the pub to show off your pets cool new look!!

General Notes
-The dinos/creatures base/natural colour can affect how well some of the templates work so if you don't get the result on one dino maybe look around for a different colour
-Some of the templates are fingerpainting done by 2 yr olds and no better than what you could do , while others are masterpieces so bit of trial an error
-You can edit any templates with your own custom additions and then re save it for your own re use
-Anyone interested in using or creating their own images and getting them in game on signs, billboards etc follow this link for easy way to upload images, most of the signs templates will distort your image when they stretch it or due to available colours but a bit of editing and can get some decent results.[url] http://www.ark-survival.net/en/2015/09/ ... or-banner/
